The Blue Ridge Band (aka TBRB) specializes in customized recordings done in the style of many popular cover songs. The studio also occasionally squirts out conservative political parody videos based on the songs and current events.



All audio recordings are in a multi-track format with separate instrument and vocal tracks that can be remixed and re-authored at the same tempo as the original release. The recording includes the use of multiple guitars and other instruments (flute, strings, keyboard, etc.) relative to each song.

The cover songs include many of the most popular classic rock songs ever done , but also includes a number of pop and country artists as well.   100s of songs are included as well as customized instructions for each guitar part:

The Band
The concept of The Blue Ridge Band got its roots in the early 1970's when a famous classic rock band called CCR broke up.  CCR's front man, John Fogerty then worked on a solo album where he did all the instruments for a collection of cover songs on an album called The Blue Ridge Rangers.  Then in late 2008, Fogerty announced an upcoming release of new CD titled "John Fogerty-The Return of The Blue Ridge Rangers".  This CD is also a collection of country music covers, but it was not recorded as a solo band.

Now Billy Ray (possibly kinfolk to Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top) is TBRB's principal performer and recording engineer, and is also highly opinionated.    So this forms the basis of TBRB...
